Pinterest Update | Manually Pin with Tailwind
MANUALLY PIN WITH TAILWIND
Does Pinterest Require You to Pin Manually?
To manually pin or not to manually pin? That is the question.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve read numerous articles, and never got a definitive answer. So to be safe, I just kept pinning myself. But it’s time consuming. And I couldn’t always pin during optimal times.
Last week I couldn’t pin. I left my house at 6:30 am to take my middle child to college. Over 12 hours later I was back home. I lost a full day to promote my blog. Or did I?

Manually Pin with Tailwind
I recently signed up for Tailwind. Why? Because it’s an approved Pinterest scheduler.
Why is that so important? Because if you’re using an unapproved scheduling tool, Pinterest might treat your pins differently . . . and not in a good way.
If you read old articles, you might think it’s ok to use other schedulers. Take for example BoardBooster. They’re promoted all over the internet and Pinterest. In fact, if you search “Tailwind vs _____”, you’ll see dozens of articles comparing Tailwind and BoardBooster. But just months ago they suddenly closed shop with no explanation.
Tailwind Pinterest Approved Marketing Partner
Anyway, I recently started using Tailwind, and I couldn’t be happier. I spent about 10 minutes scheduling my original content, and then Tailwind pinned all day for me. Isn’t that wonderful? Better yet, Pinterest treats Tailwind pins the same as pinning yourself.
Yes, you read that right.
Pinterest lets you manually pin with Tailwind.
So how do I know that it’s ok to manually pin with Tailwind? Because I checked them out.
Where did I look? On Pinterest’s own website. Go check out their Marketing Partners Directory. You’ll confirm for yourself what I already know: Tailwind is an approved pin scheduler. So don’t wait! Click on this link for your free trial of 100 scheduled pins, access to five Tailwind Tribes (think Pinterest Groups on steriods), and grow your business.

I’ve done both manual pinning and scheduled pins with Tailwind. I just don’t have much time to get all the manual pins I like, so scheduling is the way I go for me. Initially, I found Boardbooster easier to learn but when they closed due to not being an approved Pinterest partner, I was forced to learn Tailwind. Now that I have the hang of it, Tailwind is pretty great.
I would’ve been so disappointed if I had been using Boardbooster. I can’t imagine using one scheduler, and then suddenly having to switch to a different one.
Thanks for sharing – the next step I want to take for my blog is to up my pinterest game and start using tailwind. I’ve read only good things about the program.
